One Mile From New Mexico!
We spent the night here in Window Rock, AZ. We came through some back country on Highway #264...towns like Polacca, Steamboat Canyon, and Ganado...very, very small communities. We stopped at Hubbell Trading Post, a National Historical Site. This Post was founded in 1876 by John Hubbell who made a great influence on the Navajo Indian...very interesting. Today we biked through some of this area where there seem to be many sheep. Tomorrow we head into New Mexico.

Dear Mrs. Rose,
How are you? Our field trip was fun. We went on a train. Our group name was the Five Fives. We saw porcupines, fish, penguins, ducks and frogs. The frogs had blue and black. We all fell to sleep because we were tired.

I saw penguins and eagles. We saw lots of horses on the train. We had lots of fun.

We had a fun trip and saw penguins, snakes, elephants, and giraffes. We went on the little train and at the end there was a turtle.

On May 15 we went on the trip. It was fun and we saw your best animal. It was a penguin and we are doing good. We want you to come back.

Our field trip was fun and we saw a bat, lion, elephant, bald eagle, king snake, giraffe, and one had a crooked neck.

The field trip was good. We saw a gorilla at the zoo. And we saw a porcupine. We went on the little train.
